After listening to the feedback of people on our Heartstart Courses, Heartstart Swallowfield and the Swallowfield Community Responders initiated a project to raise funds to install Public Access Defibrillators into the local community.
The project was a success and thanks to the following supporters, 10 AED’s have found a place around the community and be available to the public 24 x 7, so that in the unlikely event of someone having a cardiac arrest, they are being given the very best possible chance of survival.

We cannot thank these supporters enough, as well as the Swallowfield Parish Council, The Beech Hill Parish Council, The Arborfield Parish Council, The Co-operative Store in Shinfield, The Victory Hall in Farley Hill, The Riseley Village Tea Rooms and the Beech Hill Memorial Hall, all of which have been tremendous supporters of this project and who have all agreed to kindly host one of these defibrillators.
