We are extremely pleased and excited to announce that we have been successful in raising the funds to put a minimum of 7 Public Access Automated External Defibrillators (PAD’s) in to the Community as we have now raised in excess of £12,000 to fund their purchase.
We must thank the various supporters who have donated monies to make this happen:
and the Clifton House Charity, Johnson Wax Charitable Trust and Englefield Charitable Trust.
Currently they will be deployed at the following sites:
- Swallowfield Parish Hall
- Victory Hall in Farley Hill
- Riseley Tea Rooms
- Memorial Hall in Beech Hill
- The Brand New Co-operative Shop in Shinfield
- Arborfield Village Hall
We are currently trying to finalise sites for the others.
We would like to thank the following Parish Councils for their support and willingness to support this initiative and help the Community:
- Swallowfield Parish Council
- Beech Hill Parish Council
- Arborfield Parish Council
And also the Co-operative Society, for not only funding an AED for us, but also willing to allow one to be placed on the outside of their shop in Shinfield.
